First Consultation

On arrival, the receptionist will fill out a patient record card, and ask you to complete and sign a medical history form. Please bring with you all letters, x-rays etc. from your referring doctor or dentist.

Depending on the complexity of your problem, the time needed for your initial consultation is quite variable. It is unlikely that any other treatment will be undertaken at this appointment unless specific arrangements have been made, but sometimes is necessary to arrange x-rays or other tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning.

We will endeavour to keep you fully informed of all aspects of proposed treatment, and further brochures on some of the more common operations, as well as anaesthetic and hospital procedures, etc. are available.

If there are any aspects of your treatment that you wish to have clarified after you have left our office, please don't hesitate to phone us. Many of these enquiries can be readily handled by our reception staff. However, we are always happy to see you again for further consultation if anything is unclear.
